Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash

We have been using Thieves Mouthwash since last fall and after some getting used to, we now LOVE it!  If you are looking for a natural/chemical-free mouthwash, Thieves is definitely one to get!  It contains a special blend of pure essential oils which help to support the teeth and gums.*  You can read more about it in my post – Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash.

NingXia Nitro

I have been hearing so many wonderful things about NingXia Nitro, so I thought now was the time to take the plunge and try it out!  I have not had one yet, but I am sure you will see a blog post about it in the near future.

NingXia Nitro comes in a box with 14 – 20 ml single-serve tubes inside.  Each tube contains pure essential oils along with natural ingredients to provide you with an energy boost or a “pick-me-up.”* I know being a mother of young ones, around midday, I am ready for a nap!  These will be great to have on hand when that exhaustion sets in!  Some other benefits of NingXia Nitro are:  increasing mental fitness, cognitive alertness, physical acuity and enhances athletic performance and endurance.*

Shutran Essential Oil

Since June is the month for Father’s Day, I decided to purchase Shutran essential oil as a gift!  This is a special blend specifically designed for men.  It contains Ocotea, Ylang Ylang, Hinoki, Coriander, Davana, Lavender, Cedarwood, Lemon and Northern Lights Black Spruce oils and exclusive to Young Living – Idaho Blue Spruce.  Because of its appealing aroma, many men use it as a cologne.  Who wouldn’t want a natural cologne without any harmful synthetic ingredients?!? Also, Shutran is beneficial for supporting a healthy mind and body.*  It also can help boost feelings of masculinity and confidence.* Young Living suggests adding topically 2-4 drops to the wrists twice daily or as needed.

What is Bergamot?

Bergamot is used for skin support, relaxation, uplifting spirits and building confidence.*

How will my family use Bergamot?

We love trying and experimenting with essential oils for everyday stress and to help with relaxation.  This is a new oil we are adding to our collection.  It’s always fun to change things up!  Currently, for everyday stress we use Stress-Away, Joy, Peace & Calming, Lavender and Tranquil.  We have heard so many great testimonials about using Bergamot applied to the temples and forehead.

Secondly, did you know some people consider this beard season?  Haha!  Well, living in the midwest, my husband is still sporting his facial hair.  He loves trying out different razors, clippers, shaving creams/gels, etc. (By the way, this is something I know nothing about).  We found a great oil combination for “beard-softening,” which he is looking forward to trying and secretly, I am looking forward to him trying too. Check out the recipe below –

Beard-Softening Oil Recipe
In a 2 oz. glass bottle, add the following:
10 Drops of Bergamot Essential Oil
5 Drops of Patchouli Essential Oil
3 Drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil
Top off with Young Living’s V-6 Oil Complex

What is White Angelica?

White Angelica is an essential oil blend made with Bergamot, Geranium, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Ylang Ylang, Spruce, Hyssop, Melissa and Rose essential oils with a base of almond oil.  It is primarily used for emotional support to calm and settle occasional nervousness or stress.*  It can be used aromatically or topically.  It works great applied to the top of the shoulders, on the spine, crown of head, wrists, behind the ears and the back of the neck.

How will my family use White Angelica?

Did you notice Bergamot is used in the blend as well?  White Angelica is another oil we are excited to try for occasional everyday stress – there are lots of options for this!* I’m looking forward to using it in my new diffuser necklace (blog post coming soon)!

As soon as I opened White Angelica, I knew it was going to be my new “perfume.” The aroma is soft and beautiful.  I normally call Joy essential oil my “perfume,” but this one will definitely be my new favorite!  Click on, “My Morning Routine with Essential Oils,” to see how I start everyday with Stress-Away and Joy.  I love that I have eliminated store-bought perfumes from my home and now use 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils.  Not only are they all-natural, but they can be very beneficial for your health and wellness.*

What is DiGize?

DiGize is an essential oil blend made with Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Fennel, Lemongrass, Anise and Patchouli essential oils.  It is used to support a healthy digestive system.*  It is recommended to use a vegetable capsule and dilute 1 drop with 4 drops of an oil carrier (such as, Young Living’s V-6 Oil Complex).  One drop can also be added to 4 oz. of goat’s or rice milk.  Check out the supplement facts below.

How will my family use DiGize?

DiGize is our favorite oil to use for our digestive system!  We carry this one with us at all times.  A fellow Young Living Member recommended it for our young son and it has worked great for him!  My husband also takes DiGize in a vegetable capsule or in a cup of milk as often as needed.  He has had wonderful success with it.

What is Peace & Calming?

Peace & Calming is an essential oil blend made with Tangerine, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Blue Tansy essential oils.  The name itself describes this oil.  It is the ultimate oil to help bring peace and calm to the mind and body.*  It settles tensions, eases nervousness, uplifts spirits and promotes relaxation and sleep.*

How will my family use Peace & Calming?

We love to use Peace & Calming in our home diffuser.  All you need is approximately 4-5 drops with water in the diffuser.  You can always adjust the number of drops you prefer.

We use Peace & Calming everyday in our household.  We have been applying this oil daily to our daughter’s feet before bedtime.  It is a very gentle oil.  If you have an AromaGlide Roller Fitment (roller-ball) this is the perfect bottle of oil to add it to.  It makes it much easier and convenient to apply.

We sometimes add a few drops of Peace & Calming to a 1/2 cup of Epsom salt and let it run under warm bath water.  It is great for relaxation and helps the mind unwind before bedtime.*

If we are feeling overtired, irritable or just normal everyday stress, Peace & Calming can be added to the Vita-Flex points of the feet.*

Another way we like to use this oil is massaged onto the backs of our dogs’ ears or on their paws.  We have 2 Yorkshire Terriers and they tend to get a little rambunctious from time to time.  Peace & Calming does the trick!  We even notice a difference when it is just diffused.

What is Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash?

Thieves Mouthwash contains essentials oils to support healthy gums and teeth.*  After brushing your teeth, rinse your mouth with one tablespoon or capful of Thieves Mouthwash for 30-60 seconds or as needed.  Best part?  It is all natural and safe and made with the best combination of oils to support a healthy immune system!*  Thieves essential oil blend is included in the Premium Starter Kit.  If we had to choose one oil, Thieves would be it and most people agree.  If you love Thieves oil, you will love this mouthwash.  Check out my recent blog post, “Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash.”

How will my family use Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash?

This is only our second bottle of Thieves Mouthwash.  My husband and I both use it daily.  To be honest, if you have sensitive tastebuds, it’s definitely something you have to get used to.  My husband fills the cap with straight mouthwash, I on the other hand, do half mouthwash and half water.  It seems to work great for both of us.  I love knowing we aren’t putting harmful chemicals or ingredients in our bodies either.

If you are interested in trying any of these oils mentioned or are ready to begin your oil journey, I would love to help you.  The best way to start is with the Premium Starter Kit as you can see on my order oils page.  If you have questions, feel free to contact me at any time and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash

I just received Young Living Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash in my November Essential Rewards order.  After seeing the reviews, I was really excited to try this product!  It is a great alternative to conventional mouthwash, because it is 100% natural and made with 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils.  PLUS, it is alcohol-free!  This is the mouthwash you want to support healthy teeth and gums!

Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash contains these Essential Oils –

  • Peppermint – freshens breath, plays a role in improving taste and is soothing
  • Clove – used in the dental industry to numb the gums
  • Spearmint – a powerful and rich antioxidant
  • Lemon – consists of 68% dlimonene which is a powerful antioxidant and is very purifying and refreshing
  • Cinnamon – has a strong ability to improve wellness and promote health and is soothing to the gums and teeth
  • Vetiver – contains calming and stabilizing properties
  • Rosemary – has a slightly medicinal aroma and can enhance flavor

How to use Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash?

  1. Brush your teeth as you normally would (I highly recommend AromaBright Toothpaste – made with 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils that helps support healthy gums, strong teeth and a confident smile)
  2. Rinse mouth with one tablespoon or capful of the mouthwash for 30-60 seconds or as needed.
  3. Keep stored at room temperature.

My Personal Tips

  1. Some people think the taste is great, but can be overpowering at first to some, however, it’s easy to get used to it.  Do not give up after one use!
  2. If the taste of your first capful is too strong for you, fill the cap with half mouthwash and half water.
  3. Another great idea is to pre-mix your mouthwash in a 16 oz. or larger bottle.  My recommendation is to do 8 oz. of mouthwash and 8 oz. of water.  This makes it more convenient and allows you to get more use from your bottle.
  4. Wait at least 30 minutes to eat or drink anything after using or you may still notice the taste.
  5. Not only is it an effective mouthwash, but it is equally effective poured on your toothbrush and brushed in a circular motion on your teeth and gums.
  6. It may help to alleviate tooth sensitivity.
  7. Great for gargling during the fall and winter months!
