My August Essential Rewards!

I just received my Young Living August Essential Rewards order in the mail!  This month I decided to order some things I knew my family would need for the upcoming school year, especially for the fall and winter months.  Are you prepared?  If not, I would love to chat with you.  Feel free to contact me!

Do you know about Essential Rewards (ER)?

ER is Young Living’s monthly auto-ship program.  This is NOT a requirement to become a Wholesale Member.  Once you are a member, I highly encourage checking it out, because it will save you money and earn you FREE items of your choosing at the same time.  For more information, click on Essential Rewards.

What did I order for August?

August ER order

V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex

When I first began using Young Living Essential Oils, I started with the Premium Starter Kit.  To be honest, I had NO clue what to do with the oils as soon as I got them.  They sat on my table for a few days, before I decided to give them a try.  I also was overwhelmed at my choices for a carrier oil.  Most of the essential oils recommend using a carrier oil to dilute the essential oil before applying it topically or using it as a dietary supplement.  Thankfully, I have an amazing “upline/enroller” who made the process of learning much easier.  She recommended starting with the most basic staple in my pantry – coconut or olive oil.  Both of these carrier oils work perfectly fine, but ever since I got my hands on Young Living’s V-6, it is all I will ever use!

V-6 is Young Living’s carrier oil.  It is made with organically grown coconut, sesame, grape, sweet almond, wheat, sunflower and olive oils.  It is used to dilute essential oils or for a massage.  It leaves the skin feeling smooth and nourished.*  What I love most about V-6 is there is no greasy or sticky residue and it will not clog pores or stain clothes!*

This month I ordered the large 32 oz. economy sized bottle to refill my smaller 8 oz. bottles.  I do have to say, this bottle lasts my family of 4 a very long time.  A little goes a long way!

Raven Essential Oil

Raven essential oil is great for the fall and winter.  We use it interchangeably with Ravintsara and R.C. essential oils.  They all provide a comforting and cooling aroma when applied topically or diffused.*  Raven is unique, because it is considered a “cleansing” oil blend.*  It contains the essential oils:  Ravintsara, Peppermint, Wintergreen, Lemon and Eucalyptus Radiata.

R.C. Essential Oil

R.C. is a Young Living best seller!  Since it is a favorite for many, it is now one of the 11 essential oils included in the Premium Starter Kit.  I’d say R.C. along with Thieves essential oil are the top 2 best sellers during back-to-school season!

What is R.C.?  It is an invigorating blend of Eucalyptus Globulus, Radiata, Citriodora, Myrtle, Spruce, Peppermint, Pine, Lavender, Marjoram, Cypress and the naturally occurring constituent limonene.  It creates a “spa-like” or calming atmosphere when diffused or inhaled directly.*  It is cooling and soothing when massaged with V-6 onto the chest and neck and even the bottoms of the feet before bedtime.*  As I said above, we alternate using R.C. with Raven and Ravintsara as often as needed.

SniffleEase Essential Oil

This is a NEW oil for my family!  SniffleEase is one of the 6 essential oil blends found in Young Living’s KidScents Oil Collection.  We were so excited when it was announced these oils were available individually!  We have been eager to try all of them, but SniffleEase was at the top of the list!  You know this will be a great one for the back-to-school season!

So, what is the KidScents Oil Collection?  It contains essential oil blends which were specifically formulated and designed just for kids.  Each oil blend represents a pure and natural alternative that can help comfort children through the common ups and downs of childhood.*

What is SniffleEase?  It is a rejuvenating and refreshing blend of Eucalyptus Blue, Palo Santo, Lavender, Dorado Azul, Ravintsara, Myrtle, Eucalyptus Globulus, Marjoram, Pine, Eucalyptus Citriodora, Cypress, Eucalyptus Radiata, Black Spruce and Peppermint oils.*    It can be applied topically or diffused up to 1 hour 3 times daily.

Thieves Essential Oil

By now you know, Thieves is the essential oil to have on hand at ALL times, especially during the school year.  It is Young Living’s own blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils.  It also contains the naturally derived constituents limonene, eugenol and eucalyptol.  This unique oil can help support a healthy immune system and help to maintain overall wellness.  It is used as a dietary supplement and makes for a great addition to some foods and beverages.

Valor II Essential Oil

Who has gotten their hands on Young Living’s newest additions – Valor II and Peace & Calming II?  I am so excited about these!  It’s nice to have a very comparable option when one is out-of-stock.  Valor and Peace & Calming have been favorites for many!  Since Young Living only wants to provide the BEST quality, there has been a limited supply do to unforeseen weather conditions affecting the harvest.  Young Living decided to formulate these two new blends which may provide the same benefits as their predecessors and work complimentary together.

Valor II is a blend of Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, Northern Lights Black Spruce, Matricaria, Idaho Blue Spruce, Frankincense, Vetiver, Cistus, Bergamot, Cassia and Davana oils.  It also includes the naturally derived constituents linalol, alpha-pinene, camphene and limonene.  Valor II has a calming and uplifting aroma.  It can be diffused or applied topically.

GeneYus Essential Oil

Did you know, you can now purchase the essential oils from the KidScents Oil Collection individually?  I know this was great news for many!  This collection includes 6 oils specially formulated for children which may help common ups and downs of childhood.  GeneYus is an oil blend in the kit.  I purchased it for my young son for the new school year.  I am very excited to try it out.  It may help young minds focus and concentrate (especially great for those school projects).  I plan to apply it to his diffuser necklace in the morning before school.  I will keep you posted on how we like it!  😉
